Maths - Division working form 👍

In maths, me and lance are learning the division working form because the rest of our group is doing the Otago maths. 

What I found hard: Nothing, since I had the guide of my wonderful teacher. 

What I found easy: Creating the DLO to present my work.

What I could do next time: Probably take a picture of my workings from my book.

Coding - Making a Cross

WALT. Create a cross on turtle academy using prior knowledge of coding instructions.

What I found hard: Being Patient with it.

What I found easy: Creating the cross.

What I could do next time: Make the shape large.

Our Teachers of Coding is Brielle, Amiele and Rheanna. 

For our learning of coding, we used a site called Turtle Academy.

Writing - Show Not Tell - "Getting Chased"

Getting Chased | Show-Not-Tell (SNT) | Tuesday 20th June 2017 | [ Part 1 ]

The sound of the howling wind travelled like a airplane,

as a unfairly-treated man leans against the splintery wall of a rusting shelter.

His heavy breathing accelerating every minute.

The voices echoed inside his head, while painful thoughts sailed across his mind.

A loud angry yell breaks through the howling wind, they were coming.

After some brief seconds of listening, thoughts of seeing them again made the man spill with emotions, but the yelling outside made him build up with fear.

With the voices, yelling, flashback memories and the howling wind made him feel like he was gonna crumble.

It felt like an ocean of emotions where you are getting dragged down by the mixing waves of emotion and whenever you finally reach the surface of satisfaction you get crashed back down by another wave of emotions, going and going like an endless cycle.

He was doomed. ✏

Maths - Our BEDMAS Game w/ Lance + Sione 🎮

 For maths: Create a Board/Card game that requires BEDMAS.

What I found hard: Think of a game that includes BEDMAS.

What I found easy: Present the information clearly for the game.

What we as a group could do next time: Add images of us playing the game.

What I found hard: Sharing the information in my own words.

What I found easy: Finding information from my information sources.

What I could do next time: Add more colour to make the slideshow seem more inviting.

Religious Education - The Gifts of the Holy Spirit - Te Wairua Tapu

WALT. Identify how the gift of the Holy Spirit is demonstrated in people's lives?

What I found hard: Thinking of ways how we show courage.

What I found easy: Making the slideshow neat + Tidy.

What I could do next time:  Add images to make it look more interesting.
